The short version: StandKit does not collect, transmit, or share your data. Everything stays on your device.
1. About StandKit
StandKit is a point-of-sale application for food stand operators. It helps you take orders, manage your menu, and display open orders on a kitchen screen via Chromecast. The app is a one-time purchase with no account, subscription, or cloud service required.
2. Data We Collect
We collect nothing. StandKit does not collect, transmit, or store any information on external servers. There are no analytics, crash reporting services, advertising networks, or tracking of any kind built into the app.
All data you create within the app — orders, menu items, preferences, and daily sales — is stored exclusively in a local database on your device. We have no access to it.
3. Camera Permission
StandKit requests access to your device’s camera for one specific purpose: scanning QR codes to import menu data into the app.
- The camera is activated only when you explicitly open the QR scanner.
- No images or video are captured, saved, or transmitted.
- Camera data is processed entirely on your device in real time and discarded immediately after a code is read.
- Denying the camera permission does not affect any other part of the app.
4. Internet Permission
StandKit requests internet access solely to support Chromecast (Google Cast) functionality. When you cast your order queue to a kitchen display screen, the app communicates with Chromecast devices on your local Wi-Fi network only.
- No data is sent to the internet or to any server operated by us.
- Cast communication is limited to your local network.
- If you do not use the cast feature, this permission has no effect.
5. Third-Party SDKs
StandKit uses the Google Cast SDK to enable Chromecast functionality. This SDK is provided by Google and operates within your local network. Please refer to Google’s Privacy Policy for information about how Google handles data within their SDK.
No other third-party analytics, advertising, or data-collection SDKs are included in the app.
6. Data Storage and Security
Your orders, menu items, and settings are stored in a local SQLite database on your device, protected by your device’s built-in security. We do not have access to this data, and it is not synced to any cloud service by us.
Uninstalling the app will permanently delete all locally stored data.
7. Children’s Privacy
StandKit is intended for use by adult business operators and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
If we update this privacy policy, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. Changes will only be made in connection with app updates that affect how the app handles data.
